Store Policies

 

Satisfaction Guaranteed

 

We want you to be completely satisfied with every product that you receive from Bit of Style. Everything that you purchase from us comes with our guarantee.

If you order an item that does not meet your expectations, we will gladly accept returns within 30 days of purchase. Items returns after 30 days of purchase will be issued as a store credit.

All merchandise must be unworn, unused, and in its original condition with tags attached.

Custom and Special Orders

All custom and special order items that are made especially for you are not returnable except for manufacturers' defects. Due to health concerns for our horses any horse blanket, saddle pads, or personal items returned due to manufacturer defects must be clean and hair free.

Out of Stock

If an item you have ordered is out of stock you will be notified by email and/or phone.  Out of stock items will be ordered and shipped to you as soon as the product arrives to our store or we may drop ship if it will get to you faster.

General Return Policy

All items in exception of Saddles (please see saddle return policy) can be returned for full credit (less shipping and handling) or exchange.  Items purchased must be returned in the original condition, complete with tags and/or packaging.  All returns must be authorized prior to shipping by phone or email.  In order for us to process your return in a timely manner your original invoice or an email must be included in the return box.   If you do not have your original invoice or email, please include your name and address, along with your payment information.  All returns will be processed within 10 business days of us receiving the package. 

Credit & Refund Policy

All returns must be authorized and shipped to us within 30 days of receiving the product.  Saddles must be returned within 10 days, for credit or exchange.  We regret but shipping costs are not refundable and an additional charge will be applied to an exchanged items.   Orders placed with gift certificates or items received as gifts, will receive a store credit only.  Refunds are issues to the same credit card you originally used for purchase.  We will not issue checks, cash, or credit to credit cards you did not originally use for purchase.  Returns received after 30 days will be issued as store credit only.  Returned saddles will incur 15%-20% restocking fee (please see Saddle return policy), we will be deducted that from the purchase price and the difference will be credited.

Saddle Return Policy

If a saddle doesn’t fit you or your horse, you must notify us within 3 days of receiving the saddle.  Saddles can be returned for exchange or store credit and must show no signs of wear.  Saddles returned with signs of wear will be subject to 15% restocking fee (less shipping and handling).  Special order saddles are subject to 20% restocking fee.  All saddle returns must be pre-approved and returned within 10 days of the receipt of the order.  You must call or email us prior to returning the saddle.  If a saddle is returned in unused and brand new condition we will issue a store credit less shipping and handling.  If you have any questions please contact us via email at support@bitofstyle.net or call 847-841-8501.

All Saddles MUST be received in brand new condition and show no wear or usage.

Saddles or any heavy items will have shipping determined at the time of purchase.  

We will call you prior to shipping or you can call us to get a quote.

Bit of Style ships all orders promptly after payment is made. If an item ordered is out of stock you will be notified of the delay. Any custom or special orders, please allow approximately 2-4 weeks for delivery unless otherwise the time was determined prior to purchase.

Unless you specify we ship using USPS, FedEx, and UPS Service depends on the weight and/or destination.

International Shipments:

Payments must be received and payable to Bit of Style in the US funds. You can use bank check, postal money order or International Visa or MasterCard. Please call for information on shipping and handling. International customers are responsible for all related taxes for shipments outside the USA. If a check or money orders are used your items will not ship for 10 business days.  If  you would like your items shipped immediately you must use a credit card.
